The PCM-5820 and PCM-5823 Product Upgrade

The PCM-5820 and PCM-5823 SBCs are gaining increased capacity.  The old version supported up to 128 MB maximum SODIMM SDRAM.  The new versions support up to 256 MB.  The new versions also benefit from more robust Ethernet transmission.  Ethernet transmissions now are more noise resistant, and operate over increased distances.  A third improvement is that certain models (see table) now accept both Type I and Type II CompactFlash Cards.

Availability
This upgrade is a running change; new stocks will replace old on a first-in-first-out basis.
