56K modem in its product line. With a Mini PCI socket and modem
now being offered on the just released EBX PCM-9550
SBC and the top-of-the-line POS-760
point-of-sale board, this new Mini PCI modem card represents

of the Mini PCI modem make it perfect for embedded applications.
Qualities such as V.90/K56 voice/data/fax capability, an extremely
small size, low power consumption (3.3 V DSP/CODEC with enhanced
power-saving modes) and a higher-bandwidth bus, all effectively
address the communication needs of the embedded SBC market. With
a board size of 44.45 mm x 59.6 mm x 4.9 mm that is routed through
an onboard 124-pin card-edge connector only 3 mm in height, the
