PC99 Connectors Now used on ECG Products

PC99 is a standard that helps users differentiate the external connectors on the board with different colors. All functionality and mechanical dimensions are the same as before. Advantech will be applying these new connectors to all 3.5" biscuit PCs, Slot PCs, Card PCs and SOM carrier board solutions.

Also, by using suppliers that provide connectors to the major Tier-1 motherboard manufacturers, Advantech can realize some cost savings as well.

So look for "more color" in these SBCs soon!
