 Advantech
has launched the latest version of our CardSize PC line- the CPC-2347,
which inherits all the features of its predecessor, the ISA-Bus
based CPC-2245; and accelerates performance with PCI-Bus architecture.
The CPC-2347 is a highly integrated all-in-one 486-processor single
board computer, equipped with 32 MB EDO DRAM, SVGA interface which
supports CRT monitors up to 4 MB display memory, a 10/100 Mbps
Ethernet interface and a CompactFlash™ solid state disk socket
with two RS-232 serial ports, an IDE HDD interface, and a floppy
disk controller, as well as one PCI-Bus subset interface for functional
expansion.
Easy
to Upgrade
The PCI bus,
HDD, FDD and parallel interface are connected with a user's system
board by a SODIMM socket. This form factor realizes the advantages
of easy maintenance or simple replacement only taking less than
30 seconds to swap a card. Upgrades from 486 to Pentium® II processors
are conveniently accomplished without changing the customers'
system boards.
Compact,
stable and reliable
With the rugged
reliability based on Advantech's industrial standards, the CPC-2347
operates flawlessly at temperatures up to 140° F (60°
C) continuously. The compact unit offers all these functions within
the space of a 2.5" hard disk drive (68 mm x 100 mm). Abundant
features provide an ideal price and performance solution for high-end
commercial and industrial applications where stability and reliability
are essential.
PCI bus development
board - CPC-2600
 The
ADVANTECH CardSize PC family provides field-approved functions
in a tiny card and reserves a small connector for optional extension
modules, such as the CPC-2520 VGA/LCD module. The CPC-2600, PCI
bus development board for the CPC-2347, is available. The CPC-2347
plugs into the CPC-2600 for system development and evaluation.
Multi-functional features and flexibility make the CPC-2347 the
perfect core for computing platforms in all market segments, for
example, small industrial controllers, panel PCs, security systems,
Internet gateways, medical equipment, mobile PCs and Web appliances.
