PCM-5862E Rev. A1 to PCM-5862E Rev. A2
- PCM-5862E-00A1
(Rev A1) will be phased out in August 2000. With
Sales able to take orders for Rev. A2 immediately.
- The
PCM-5862E-00A1 will be replaced by the PCM-5862E-OOA2 (Rev.
A2) starting from August 2000.
The only difference between Rev. A1 and Rev. A2 is that the
clock generator has been replaced. All mechanical and functional
attributes of the product remain unchanged.

PCM-5862E/L Rev. A2's Phase out Schedule
- The PCM-5862E/L-OOA2
(Rev. A2) will be phased out at the end of this year. The details
for this phase-out are shown below.

This upgade is because the RTL8139B onboard ethernet controller
will be replaced by the RTL8139C chipset.
